Last updated
1. Scope and parties
These terms cover use of BiblioProf and acquisition of digital educational publications. Platform operator: To be completed — name or legal entity and legal address. Contact: contact@biblioprof.ch. Contractual seller of publications and BiblioProf’s exact role in the sale: To be completed consistently with descriptions, checkout and receipts. These terms do not implicitly designate each creator or BiblioProf as the seller.
2. Account and use
The same account supports acquiring and offering publications. Provide accurate information, protect your login credentials and report suspicious access. You must be able to enter into a valid commitment or have the necessary authorisation. Impersonation, fraud, unlawful content and bypassing protections are prohibited. Community features and publications may be moderated under applicable rules.
3. Publications and ordering
Before ordering, review the description, listed files, formats, available languages, price and any specific terms. Previews illustrate the content but are not the delivered files. Automatic translations may contain imperfections; take account of displayed availability and validation statuses. Check the summary before confirming your order. Exact point of contract formation and confirmation arrangements: To be completed according to the sales process actually enabled.
4. Prices and payment
Applicable amounts and currency are those displayed when ordering. Any applicable tax or fee must be shown before confirmation. Tax treatment and VAT presentation: To be completed. Available payment methods are those offered at purchase; installing an extension does not guarantee a provider. The BiblioProf wallet may be used according to the balance and displayed rules. Any required additional payment follows the offered payment method.
5. Purchased credit and earnings
Purchased credit is used for acquisitions on BiblioProf, is separate from creator earnings and is not a withdrawable earnings balance. Earnings follow their own availability and withdrawal rules. Entries may be corrected for cancellation, refund or a justified error. Mandatory rights remain reserved. Any credit expiry and treatment when the service or account closes: To be completed; this text sets no expiry.
6. Access and usage rights
File access depends on acquisition and order status under the displayed rules. Check format compatibility with your tools. Purchase does not transfer intellectual property ownership. Usage rights are those stated in the description or attached licence. Standard licence and permitted scope for a class, colleagues or institution: To be completed before sale. Without authorisation, do not resell, redistribute or make files publicly accessible; statutory exceptions remain reserved.
7. Defects and refunds
For an inaccessible file, defect or substantial difference from the description, contact contact@biblioprof.ch with the order and issue, without unnecessary bank details. Requests must be assessed according to the situation and applicable rights. Switzerland does not provide a general withdrawal right for every online purchase; mandatory rights and rights relating to defects remain unaffected. Commercial refund policy, procedure, time limits and repayment method: To be completed. This text does not impose a blanket exclusion of refunds.
8. Creators and intellectual property
Creators retain the rights they hold and must have the necessary permissions. Submission and sale of their content are also subject to the Creator Terms, whose personal and versioned acceptance is managed separately. These general terms do not replace that acceptance. Report suspected rights infringements to contact@biblioprof.ch with information allowing review.
9. Responsibilities and availability
BiblioProf takes reasonable measures to operate and secure the service. Continuous availability and complete absence of errors cannot be guaranteed. Users assess educational suitability for their class and their institution’s rules. No provision excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for intent or gross negligence. Restrictions and suspensions must be justified and proportionate; transactions and legitimately acquired rights must be considered according to their circumstances.
10. Data, changes and governing law
The Privacy policy and Cookies page explain processing and preferences. Changes to these terms are dated and communicated according to their significance; they do not retroactively alter acquired rights without an applicable basis. Swiss law applies, subject to applicable mandatory provisions. If a problem arises, first contact contact@biblioprof.ch to seek direct resolution. Mandatory rules on court jurisdiction remain reserved.
