Authentication data, verification records, two-factor authentication settings and technical security logs help protect accounts and prevent abuse. BiblioProf does not display passwords in plain text.
3. Publications and community
Public descriptions, profiles made visible, watermarked previews and community contributions are accessible according to their visibility. Publication files are subject to access and acquisition rules. Submitted content may be reviewed by authorised team members. Public statistics and achievements may reflect community activity depending on the features used. Do not submit identifying information about pupils or third parties without the right and need to do so.
4. Purchases, wallet and withdrawals
WordPress and WooCommerce support account and order management. BiblioProf records acquisitions, amounts, purchased credit, earnings, commissions, adjustments and withdrawal requests to carry out transactions and maintain traceability. Bank details are private; a snapshot is retained for each withdrawal request. Necessary payment information is shared with the parties involved. Payment providers actually enabled, recipients and processing countries: To be completed. An installed extension does not establish that a payment service is used.
5. Translations and technical providers
When automatic translations are requested, relevant passages and their educational context may be sent to OpenAI. The engine also supports translation of community messages on request. Account references, balances, bank details and API keys are not included in the educational metadata sent. Personal information within a document may nevertheless be included in its text: check content before uploading. Hosting, backup and communication providers support the service. Identities, processing locations, subcontractors and retention commitments: To be completed after checking contracts.
6. Cookies and audience measurement

Optional categories depend on the choices offered by BiblioProf. Google Analytics may be used only when configured and permitted by the applicable consent. The Cookies register describes technologies, providers, purposes and durations. You can change your preferences there; refusal does not remove processing necessary for a purchase or security.
7. Purposes, communications and access
We use these data to provide requested features, deliver purchases, manage earnings and withdrawals, respond to requests, moderate content, secure the platform and meet obligations. Account, security and transactional messages accompany these functions. Any promotional communication requires appropriate information and choice; this policy is not advertising consent. Internal access is limited to relevant permissions. Data may be disclosed where justified by a legal obligation or the protection of rights.
8. Processing abroad
Some providers may process data outside Switzerland. The countries concerned and applicable safeguards or exceptions must be specified: To be completed for hosting, payments, messaging, OpenAI and audience measurement actually used. This statement guarantees neither exclusively Swiss hosting nor the absence of transfers. International disclosures must meet the applicable FADP requirements.
9. Retention and protection
Data are retained for as long as needed for the stated purposes, then deleted or anonymised when legal obligations, disputes and backup constraints permit. Closing an account does not automatically delete accounting records or necessary transaction history. Exact retention schedules for data, backups and logs: To be completed. Access controls, authentication measures and technical protections reduce risks without guaranteeing absolute security.
